Vape Won't Hit? Fixes That Work — and What the Best Disposables Do Right

You pull and get nothing. Or a thin, weak hit. Or a burnt taste out of nowhere. Most of the time the device isn't broken — something simple is in the way. Work through this list in order, from the most common fix to the least.

1. Charge It

2. Press the Button

Some devices fire when you inhale; others only heat while you hold a button. Big Cloud uses a button-activated draw, so press and hold while you pull. If you've been drawing without pressing, that's the whole problem.

3. Warm It Up

Concentrate thickens in the cold. If your device spent time somewhere chilly, hold it in your hand for a few minutes and let it reach room temperature. Don't put it on a heater or leave it in a hot car — too much heat causes its own problems.

4. Change How You Draw

Hard, fast pulls can overwhelm the coil and make a device seem clogged. Take slow, steady, gentle draws of a few seconds each, and give it a moment between pulls so oil can reach the coil again.

5. Check the Airflow

Pocket lint and debris can block the mouthpiece or air intake. Wipe the mouthpiece with a dry cloth. Don't poke sharp objects into the device.

6. Store It Upright

Storing a device on its side or upside down can leave oil away from the heating element. Keep it upright between uses, at room temperature.
